Triskelyon St. John'S, Newfoundland and Labrador
Triskelyon is a Canadian melodic thrash metal project created by Geoff Waye, guitarist for Artach and Category VI. Conceived
in late 2021 as a studio-only project the first self-titled EP was released in January 2022. In the summer of 2022 Triskelyon was signed to Moribund Records and on October 28th, the full length debut album DOWNFALL was released.

Ce qu'il y a de bien dans les débuts d'un groupe, c'est qu'il y a une plus grande variété dans le style, avant qu'ils ne se soient fixés sur un en particulier. C'est le cas ici, avec des pistes plus heavy rythmées (Phantoms of the Sky, Leather Demon), de belles tranches de doom (Inquisition, Deathwell), il y a cette souplesse dans la musique et cette facilité à jongler entre les genres typique des groupes nouveaux venus ultra-motivés qui compense le manque de bouteille.
